About Little Red
Based in Edinburgh and East Lothian, Little Red creates hand-made, unique jewellery. Scrap materials such as recycled packaging, paper, old postage stamps and maps are preserved in resin and incorporated into surprising new pieces.
All the jewellery is hand-made by myself. I graduated with a MA in Fine Art from The University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art in 2008, where my degree show work was mostly collage and incorporated photographic, recycled and drawn elements. Since then I have taught myself how to work with resin and become interested in being involved in and supporting the local designer/maker scene in Edinburgh through my ventures We Made It and The Market.
Each Little Red piece is a one-off, so once it’s gone, it’s gone! Check out the website regularly to catch the brand new items as they’re made. Have a look at the ‘sold’ section to see the ones that got away – if you see something you like, just send me an email and (materials-permitting) I may be able to custom-make you something similar at no extra cost.
